@ballislife65741 @awarech6 @Thomo_Grant There’s a parallel universe where St Kilda wins the 2004 Prelim (as Port almost did the 2014 & 2020 Prelims), and you’re scoffing at me for suggesting a midfield of PBurgoyne/Carr/Kornes/James could beat Voss/Aker/Black/Lappin on the MCG. Underselling Port is a national pastime.

And no team won more games than StKilda in my last 3 years but we weren’t quite ready. Theres 2 sides to that story……always competitive, underperformed. I’ve always rated Port list as a finals list. Making finals 7 from 14 years coaching that group in my view is short of mark. Just my view.

@Thomo_Grant Only two teams won more games than Port during Ken's time. A kick away from 2 grand finals. Most would say he got the most out of the lists he had. Probably went on two years too long at Port.

Noticed at the footy last night how empty the bar lines were in my vicinity and have been all year. I reckon if Adelaide Oval made some basic concessions on prices they might be pleasantly surprised with sales and profit. But I’m just an attendee with a business economics degree

@Addyant23 @powerfromportt Would love a glimpse at the parallel universe where Jaidyn Stephenson got a guernsey instead. As much as we’re a mile off and very much looking to the future, his running power and attacking game could’ve made all the difference in at least one or two of those narrow losses.

The AFL shafting both ADEL v PA and SYD v GWS derbies on Friday night double headers is a disgrace. The Clubs involved deserve better and the Neutral fans deserve better. Either put one at 6pm and one at 8:30pm or don’t put 2 x games on.

@ParrottDarryl @Addyant23 Port won 3 games in 2011 and 5.5 games in 2012, coinciding with the Suns and Giants entry. As a result they didn’t get a top-5 pick in either year. It’s farcical.

@Addyant23 Every rule change has winners, and lovers. For 30 odd years shit clubs have got pick 1 priority pick, some 2 or 3 times, as soon as it was North's turn, they scrap it. They gave GC, pick 1 just 2 years earlier.

"Ensuring clubs pay fair price." No, they are overpaying now haha, unless the AFL come out and admit that they helped Qld clubs by rotting the system, that system from last year should continue to be used as the fair price mechanism.
