@SHalder41398 @DraupadiLoops Ahh, I absolutely despise those useless serials... Why do these useless serials portray Draupadi as arrogant and Sita as docile ?

@MySutradhar Yes, but those were their real identities. Karna was abandoned at birth. His rightful place was the eldest son of Kunti and a Kshatriya prince. He was denied rights to a lot of things (e.g., education, respect) that were rightfully his had that exchange not happened

I would like to know what exactly was tragic about Karna's life. He was abandoned by his birth mother but was raised by very loving parents. Other children of that same mother had more tragic life - born in a forest, lost their father very young, faced constant threats to their lives during their stay in Hastinapur, had to live in hiding pretending to be dead, built their own kingdom from scratch which was robbed through deceit, faced public humiliation, lived in exile, forced to kill their loved ones for their birth right. Karna on the other hand - lived under royal patronage all his life, closest advisor to the crown prince of Hastinapur, had more influence on decision making than Dhritarashtra himself. So I would like to ask once again - what exactly was so tragic about Karna's life?

Karna is glorified not because people believe he is hero or good... They know he did some big sins like instigating Draupadi Vastrapaharan... They also know he paid for that in the end... Despite all this Karna is glorified for following reasons: 1. He is a classic tragic character... Always raises the question of "what if" 2. He was arguably the most powerful archer after Bheeshma... Different matter that he could never display that as he lost many battles due to lack of motivation most of the times and when he was motivated his curses kicked in and of course Madhav did what he had to 3. All this brings relativity for people because normal people are not perfect... Normal people like redemption and benefit of doubt for characters they believe deserve 2nd chances There is nothing wrong with that There is a reason why people don't relate like this with any other characters from either Mahabharatam or Ramayanam in terms of redemption or 2nd chances

@heythereheyou @oskiboondein Yudhishthira is never questioned for betting because he tried to avoid playing the game.He requested Shakuni that instead of gambling, they do something else. He did not know about the illusion, deception and was defeated. He should have just killed Shakuni instead, like Balaram.

@prabhasfan55 @oskiboondein It was everyone. But the biggest culprit was yudhishthir But you know what baffles me was, after losing his kingdom twice and letting his wife be disgraced like that, he was still called dharmraj and made king He was the weakest of pandvas in battle too, yet still made king

Mahabharat should only be made when someone leaves their blind karan obsession ( looking at you rajamouli ) . Make it fair to all sides no need to glorify anyone .

@adityajakki That's what makes Mahabharata such a great epic. The fact that everyone is morally grey makes for interesting characters, with Karna being one of the most interesting tragic figures. Glorification is obviously wrong but the nagging "what if" always lingers.

The fact that there is glorification of Karna in Kalki movie and calling him better than ARJUN is unreal.

@adityajakki Karna is glorified because people don't read. Because if they did, they'd know about how many battles karna lost and ran away. Your points are valid about relatability and second best. But if people read, they'd know that he was nowhere close to what they think he was.

@prabhasfan55 Im saying the EXACTLY same thing if you had read my tweets a little precisely. it's the momentary anger that enrages me towards Pandavas. Anyways I don't have to prove anyone my understanding on this platform!
