We asked NVIDIA GTC attendees for their first impressions after interacting with OpenMind robots. Robots will only get smarter from here, and our models are only getting better.

OpenMind had 8 robots on the open sidewalks at GTC. They autonomously navigated crowded spaces and verbally interacted with people.

OpenMind wrapped up GTC on the NVIDIA Stage, showcasing our fully autonomous robots in action. We demonstrated what OM1 can do in completely new environments, navigating seamlessly through dynamic, crowded spaces. Attendees experienced firsthand how our specialized AI models power movement and enable real, social interaction with robots.

Day 2 at @NVIDIA GTC 2026 Spent the day connecting with our App Store partners: @AGIBOTofficial, @LimX_Dynamics, @boosterobotics, and @UnitreeRobotics, all working toward one goal, getting robots into homes and businesses faster. Grateful for the growing media attention helping amplify the future of open-source robotics.

We're excited to present fully autonomous robots at NVIDIA GTC! We will be front and center at the main entrance, where our OM1-powered robots will be greeting attendees. If you are coming to GTC, come say hi.

OM1 is now compatible with @boosterobotics and their K1 model. These "KidSize" robots are great as friendly, lightweight companions. Here, our Greeter software enables our Booster K1 to track a person's movement, and when at a specified distance, can use movement commands such as waving.

We hosted an OM1 + Gazebo workshop to a sold-out crowd. Developers learned how to get started with OM1 and setup Gazebo simulation so they can start building robot applications without needing physical hardware. The strong demand for these events show how robotics as an industry is taking off.

Today, Founder of OpenMind, @JanLiphardt gave his keynote on The Rise of Decentralized Robots at @consensus_hk by @CoinDesk. Jan expressed the importance of transparency, immutability, and governance features that blockchain brings as AI becomes smarter than humans.

Our partners at @RealSenseAI presented our latest physical AI integration at the SPIE Photonics West Exhibition. Bits, the robot dog, utilizes our new OM1 "Follow Me" algorithm and RealSense D435i camera to follow a user. This has huge implications for autonomous robots to support humans in homecare, security, and other industries where assistants are needed.

@0xHanta @openmind_agi @ClaraChengGo @paigeinsf Hi @0xHanta it looks like a network/connectivity issue. At times when the network is disrupted, there's a lag in receiving the response from the API endpoints. Let me know if you're still facing it.

I voice-interacted with an @openmind_agi OM1 agent last night... “Hi Spot” worked perfectly then some lag hit me and I went from getting a response to not getting any i don’t know if this was a bug or a normal occurrence @ClaraChengGo @paigeinsf

Big things ahead
