Reels Jihad 2.0 Platforms like Instagram and Facebook are flooded with clips captioned: "Hindu girl falling for Muslim boy." In these clips, the girls remove bindi, tilak, or any visible symbols of Sanatan Dharma and cover their heads with a dupatta like a hijab. If they wear Western dresses, they stop doing so and begin wearing suits, followed by hijabs and burqas. Due to the virality of this trend, a spate of Hindu girls are falling for it. This is alarming because we have documented cases showing how it starts with an awe of Islamic practices for many Hindu girls and ends with their suicides or murders. This is a new modus operandi that cannot be ignored or taken lightly.
