@UpdatesChennai @CMDA_Official @Guidance_TN @TIDCO_1965 What about water there is no water in Chennai and you want 40 floors. No OMR apartment has water everyone gets water through tanker lorry. More real estate is not good we need less real estate and more trees. More houses means lower quality of life for other people.

Look at Ahmedabad. An earthquake prone city making full use of its FSI and other benefits. The city's annual office space absorption is 1/4th that of Chennai. But look at them building 40 storey tall office towers. Wake up @CMDA_Official @Guidance_TN @TIDCO_1965

One of my contrarian takes: Society peaked in the 80s, and it’s been in slow decline ever since. It was the last era of widespread optimism. You can feel it in the music and movies. “Excess meets innocence.” The 80s also mark the end of the analog world—local economies, in-person everything, and a certain forced simplicity. Malls, movie theaters, magazines, and BMX. Then, beginning in the 90s, came the tidal wave of tech: Mobile phones The internet Social media AI All incredible innovations, with lots of positives. But on the whole I think they’re *net negatives* for society. We replaced a finite, real-world experience with an infinite, digital one. Infinite information. Infinite comparison. Infinite distraction. Human’s aren’t wired for that, and you can see the consequences all around us.

@dravidasishu @thangapushpam03 @rara_canus What crap there is no timeline for cracking. Even if they win after 10 years it is still consider cracking. Important thing is after winning once trying to press the advantage.

The most powerful dialogue in Dhurandhar 2 "We are men, Jaskirat. From the moment we're born till the day we die, we are meant to fight for our cause, for our dreams, for our rights, for our family. And we get no appreciation or medals for it. This is our duty." Aditya Dhar deserves full credit for writing something so raw and grounded. It truly captures responsibility, sacrifice, and the silent battles men fight every day.

@contrarianEPS The purpose of money is to put it to use. Beyond 70 money is useless. Equities should help you to become reasonably rich by 50 otherwise it is useless. We have have limited time on earth.

@saketh1998 Contrary to what Elon Musk and others may say AI is not good it is actually bad. AI will result in fewer people wanting to have kids and even if they have they will go for one and not two. Complete population collapse in 200 to 300 years

Where do you draw the line between “work is important” and “this is too much”? A friend of mine works at a Big 4 firm. Today, a good part of financial analysis can already be automated. recently there have been layoffs in her team, she’s now forced to stretch working 14–16 hours a day. The reality is, if you plan to quit, the job market isn’t great. And if you look for work life balance, there are enough people waiting to replace you. So where does this end? Is this even sustainable? Because if this is the future, it’s honestly scary one part of society will be struggling to find jobs, while the other has jobs but no life.

A simple trick to deal with stray dogs🐕. Many walkers say that stray dogs are often more startled by water than by sticks or stones. Carrying a small water bottle & splashing a little water towards the dog can break its focus & make it back off, without hurting the animal. It works mainly because dogs dislike sudden splashes & the surprise makes them move away. A harmless & humane way to avoid trouble during walks. 🐕
