Remember July 2020? That was the EXACT month DeFi Summer exploded into existence 🔥 Crypto market cap shot up 29% to ~$319B. Bitcoin ripped +24% to $11,323. Ethereum crushed it with +53%. Altcoins like Cardano +67%. The bull was BACK – and DeFi was the rocket fuel. 🚀

Fast-forward to April 2026: Total crypto market cap now ~$2.6 TRILLION (8x+ from July 2020). DeFi TVL has grown from ~$1B to over $83 BILLION (and still climbing strong). We’re multi-chain. Arbitrum Security Council claws back 71 million …dollars worth of stolen ETH from the Kelp DAO exploit — without the hacker’s private key. Using a rare EIP-2718 Type 101 system transaction (ArbitrumUnsignedTxType), they executed a privileged state override.
