Because legally qualified American voters don't want to be harassed and intimidated by masked gunmen as a condition of going to vote. Is that really hard to understand?

I am not "back". These are my periodic posts simply to keep my account here from being shut down for inactivity and my handle stolen. I regularly share my thoughts at the other place.

They denied her medical care for 15 minutes, until their own medics could come. Maybe it didn't make a difference, but it's an awfully inhuman thing to do.

Here's a basic American idea: the country is filled with people who are different from me, in all kinds of ways. And they all have the same rights, same as me.

My one-year anniversary of leaving this hellhole came and went, and I didn't even notice.

Just posting so Elon doesn't take my handle and give it to someone else.

That's my 2 cents to keep X from shutting down my account from disuse. See you on the other side.

The notion that this is what "limited government" looks like - armed masked men accosting people in the streets, using the army to bully state and local authorities, arbitrary tariffs determining what you can buy, the President setting taxes and spending w/o Congress - is absurd.

Republicans continue to posture on "free markets" and "pro-business", yet it would be hard to find an Administration more actively interventionist or politically punitive towards markets or business than the Trump White House. It is statist and personalist through and through.

Every time I post, it's like "ha, he couldn't stay away!" To the contrary, I post every once in a blue moon simply so they don't shut my account. That's all. My life is way happier without this place.

I'll break my vow of Twitter silence for a moment just to post this:

I'm told it's important to come back here every few months and tweet something so they don't count my account as inactive and close it, permitting someone else to claim my handle and pretend to be me.

I have not gone silent. I am at the other place. I am no longer here because I won't help legitimize and support a "forum" run by the man who is dismantling our Constitution as we speak, and pretend it's the place we should go to be heard.
