I have serious FOMO about building a mobile app I have basically zero mobile dev knowledge Everyone keeps recommending Expo, but React isn’t my main tool Any recommendations on where to start?

I’ve been in the mobile app world for 15+ years and honestly, it’s one of the most fun things to build. After refactoring more apps than I can count, my simple recommendation today is this: Go with React Native + Expo. You don’t need to love React on day one. The tooling, speed, and ecosystem save you from a ton of early pain and let you focus on shipping instead of fighting setup. Build first. Optimize later.
