Rep. @AOC on Rep. Mace's transgender bathroom measure: "They're doing this so that Nancy Mace can ... fundraise off an email. They're not doing this to protect people. They're endangering women, they're endangering girls of all kinds. And everybody should reject it. It's gross."

Pelosi is the one who saved the ACA after the White House and Senate wanted to scale down the bill and strip some of its most important provisions. She said she could get the votes for the Senate version in the House, and by a margin of 220-215, she did.

Not great! Pelosi is perhaps the only member of the entire party who's genuinely ruthless in the pursuit and exercise of power. Which is what the dems need!

@BladeoftheS These were teaboys and tea girls. They were not MPs. In contrast, Labour MPs were out rubbing cheeks with thousands of BLM rioters. But you let that slip your mind did you? 🤡

I lost my mother & wife to COVID. I couldn’t be with them when they were healthy, only to watch them struggle in their final moments. Now, Kemi Badenoch wants us to ‘draw a line under it.’ How can we move on without acknowledging our pain?

So as a Democrat, am I allowed to be mad that Trump openly threatens me on the campaign trail pretty much every day? I don't understand why it's become a strange unmentionable that Trump is literally promising political violence.

The Economist just published a deeply-researched story about car bloat, and it's very, very damning: "For every life that the heaviest 1% of SUVs and trucks save, there are more than a dozen lives lost in other vehicles." Well worth your time: economist.com/interactive/un…

@KhaleesiKat @crazy_bitch88 I think it seems obvious that she is practicing more than some of the others. I think they are all great at this stage, but it seems unfair to say that she doesn't have "natural sewing ability" when she's clearly very good at it.

@prenderghost @crazy_bitch88 All the contestants will work hard between challenges. Like with bake off the unexpected challenges are to test how much experience they’ve without needing practice/learn techniques just for the show. Overall that’s lacking every time.. excellent candidate lost to keep her in.

This is what irritates the shit out of me. Suzy messes up in round one and two, then brings it back in round three. She always does this #sewingbee

@KhaleesiKat @crazy_bitch88 doesn't this just mean she works really hard between recordings? seems like that should be rewarded. The pattern challenge is as much a time & stress management challenge as a sewing challenge.

@crazy_bitch88 It is the only garment she can practice at home, so she clearly doesn’t have a natural sewing ability because she can’t do the things that are a surprise.

It’s an exciting day here, with our 2nd-year PhD cohort presenting their work at our mini-conference. It’s been great to advise this excellent group with Martha Wilfhart. (Photo from ⁦@easton_matty⁩)

Can you believe it?! It's been 10 years of No Such Thing As A Fish - over 500 episodes, 30,000 facts and countless mentions of moss (and golf, wine and yetis). Thanks to everyone who listens, but don't go anywhere! There's much more still to come...
