@LangmanVince 7th grade civics…freedom of speech applies to the government punishing you. It is alive and real. Freedom for an employer to fire you is real.

@DaleLPower @Real___iTamara 7th grade civics teaches you that speech is protected from government. Employers voluntarily hire people and have the freedom to fire them if they are saying things detrimental to their business. Americans are taught this in school around adolescence.

People shouldn't be losing their jobs for their free speech. Even if it's abhorant to us. They should be taken aside by those close to them and corrected. Told that it is wrong to goad people into violence in their grief and that other people truly due matter as well as themselves, but taking away their ability to get food and pay rent helps no one.
