Interesting Considering how care-free he is, I'm a tad but surprised he's learning English. From the way he pronounced "art", you can easily tell he's french. Cos the french have a pronunciation principle where most final consonants in words, specifically d, g, p, s, t, x, z are silent. So art here is prounced - ar Hazard is pronounced - hazaaar Courtois is pronounced- kotwa And so on. It's cute tho.

English gets away with homographs like “read”, same spelling, different sounds depending on tense. But in Yoruba and Igbo, tones do the heavy lifting. Take them away, and the words feel incomplete… almost “naked.” English leans on context. These languages lean on sound.
