Now that I have your attention please allow me to vent for a moment. There are countless accounts on here (myself included) that go through the process of traveling, shooting, editing, and posting photos on here. These accounts are putting in work to show you the shots that you’ve never seen before… and yet they have a tiny fraction of the followers of some accounts that repost stuff they found online or outright steal from lesser known photographers. Let’s try to change that. Stop following repost accounts. Start sharing and following the folks that actually make the effort to deliver photos that you’ve never seen before. I don’t ask this often but if you could share and repost this, I would appreciate it. Party on folks.

A lesson I still haven’t learned: never leave home without the camera. Sunday seemed like the perfect quiet day to move things between houses, until I looked up while driving through my old neighborhood and caught four Legacy Hornets in the overhead break. Cue me scrambling to Alliance Fort Worth, where I found these VMFA-323 Death Rattlers sitting ready for fuel.

The lighting may have been backlit, but I’m still thrilled to catch these legacy Hornets on takeoff. I couldn’t stick around for the last two. Had to get back to my regularly scheduled programming and haul another carload for the new house.

Aeronautica Militare’s HH-139 demo is easily one of my all-time favorites. There’s just something about the way it moves, the sound of the rotors, and that sleek design that gets me every time. These shots are from the Jesolo Air Show in Italy this past June. I was lucky enough to catch this demo four times in just two weeks, all with the stunning Adriatic Coast as the backdrop. La dolce vita. This truly is the sweet life.
