The Fraternal Order of Police in Indy donated $5,000 on Thursday to Young Men Inc., a group that has spent 30 years running summer camps to teach children discipline and respect for their community and law enforcement. FOP President Rick Snyder said the group continues to make a real impact in the city.
At a press conference, Snyder said the organization played a key role in helping the community heal after IMPD Officer David Moore was shot and killed in January 2011.

@CrawfordLoritts Amen!!! This is my prayer for myself and my brothers & sisters as we gather to worship in song, receive the preached Word & fellowship with one another! May we grow in Christ & go preach the gospel of Christ!
PRAYERS APPRECIATED!!! God has led our lead pastor, Mark Vroegop, to take the position of President of The Gospel Coalition! Mark has lead our church well for the last 17 years! God has used him to establish a healthy culture and mature staff and elders of whom I am the least.
Great service at College Park Church today! Worship songs were encouraging along with the overview of Colossians! We will be examining a Jesus centered life in the coming weeks! God is encouraging me even though I am experiencing real Satanic attacks! God is with me! Please pray!
I want to thrive in 2025! By God’s grace I plan to: 1. Meditate on the Word of God day&night, 2. Apply the Word daily, 3. Demonstrate personal growth in my Christian life, 4. Evaluate my life and doctrine daily. I WANT TO FINISH WELL! 1 Timothy 4:15-16. “That I might know him…”
I love, love this New Year’s prayer that John Wesley taught his Methodist followers to pray each new year:
“I am no longer my own, but yours. Put me to what you will, rank me with whom you will; Put me to doing, put me to suffering;
Let me be employed for you, or laid aside for you, Exalted for you, or brought low for you; Let me be full, Let me be empty, Let me have all things, Let me have nothing: I freely and wholeheartedly yield all things To your pleasure and disposal.
And now, glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, You are mine and I am yours. So be it. And the covenant now made on earth, let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.”
A Thread on “The Argumentative Frame.” I recently learned a new term. I’ve been researching it further and reflecting on it. More to come later, but here’s a start. Summary: The argumentative frame is a toxic, destructive way of thinking and relating. 1/
I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3.
I got a Saturday walk in this morning & as I was listening to my favorite Christian artists it hit me that I have so much to be thankful for during this Christmas season. But it starts with Jesus coming in the first place to begin His mission-to come be the sacrifice for my sins!
Just FYI Jeremy I was on a Bible study conference call today with about 30 current NFL Head coaches, coordinators and position coaches. These men are outstanding- at the top of their profession & committed to setting an example for their players. Wish you could talk to them.
Prayers appreciated! Preaching at my home church, College Park, tomorrow! “ Trading human anxiety for God’s peace.” (Phil 4:6-7) My son was in ICU from 11/12 until last night! MY CHURCH FAMILY HAS SUPPORTED MY FAMILY THROUGHOUT THIS BATTLE! I’m thankful for God’s peace!
We’re celebrating my birthday at the Carrollwood Day School Patriots homecoming football game. We are hitting on all cylinders with big plays on offense and takeaways on defense. Patriots lead 30-0 at halftime.
Dr. Evans is an amazing man. He has been representing Jesus Christ and impacting lives for over 40 years. I have leaned on him for guidance, direction, and encouragement over the years and I am not alone. I can’t thank him enough for his biblical teaching and insight.
Encouraging time at Crossroads Bible Church (142&Post in Indy, IN) today preaching the second of a 3 part sermon series, Special Forces for the Savior! Small, but solid group of believers! Serving their community!
“It is critical that the church pursue grace relations rather than merely race relations…Grace relations are built upon forgiveness and the intentional pursuit of peace, trust, unity, and loving relationships because of Christ.”

@angelaganote@ReporterEric@MaxLewisTV@RussMcQuaidNews@FOX59 These are deeply troubling times in which we live! My heart goes out to the family and my prayers go up to God. I’m actively seeking practical ways for IMPD and community members to collaborate in fighting crime. Citizens are living in fear while criminals are increasingly bold!
