I say this with every fiber of my being: Put your oxygen mask on first. Fascists are about to throw all sorts of f*ckery at you, and if you want to help others, you need to take care of yourself first. Please 🙏🏾. Take a beat to journal out what you need to do to be ok (community, therapy, exercise, screaming, journaling, prayer, meditation, cupcakes, etc…). There are so many tools to help us get through this. We will get through this. And if you need grounding in what’s real - remember that these folks who elevated a rapist to the highest office while claiming to be Christians are f*cking hypocrites. They will try to gaslight you into thinking that they’re right and you’re wrong. They will try to make you doubt reality. They will try to pretend that your empathy is a weakness. It’s not. @BeachBreeze5 Tub/shower drain was moving at a glacial pace, and the antiquated flat-bottom trap setup made it so that there was no way to snake or flush it. Only option (other than diving into full scale bathroom reno on a whim) was to replace the whole drain assembly. 😭
