This is politics. Stanley Osifo threw away N100 million just to get a handshake with President Tinubu. Stanley Osifo knew Tinubu owns the ticket but he still went ahead to purchase the presidential form at N100 million. Today, he met Tinubu one-on-one and received a handshake. A N100 million well spent.

🚨 Breaking News: Piero Hincapié is expected to become Arsenal’s first official signing once the summer transfer window opens. 🔸The Ecuadorian talent, who is comfortable at centre-back or left-back, arrived on a loan-to-buy setup, and the Gunners are now ready to pay the £45m fee to make it permanent. 🔸This campaign, Hincapié has stood out as Arsenal’s go-to left-back, delivering strong performances week after week. 🔸Rising from humble beginnings in Ecuador’s dusty landscapes to starring in the Premier League, he has shown real growth full of belief, intensity, courage, and that raw, bold South American flair. 🔸Even with tough battles for places in defence, he stayed focused, pushed through, and grabbed his chance to excel while Calafiori was sidelined. 🤝🔴⚪ Your thoughts… Follow me @TattledArsenal #Arsenal #COYG #ars

Students of Anambra state university donates 10.7 million naira for Tinubu’s re-election bid They endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office and donated N10.7m towards the purchase of his expression of interest form. The students said the endorsement was in recognition of the impact of the loan scheme on access to higher education and the reduction of financial burdens on students. Speaking during the presentation at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam campus, on Friday, the Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Council in Anambra State, Ifeanyichukwu Chukwuemeka, described the gesture as a show of appreciation for Tinubu’s educational reforms and youth-focused policies. Chukwuemeka said, “We, the beneficiaries of the NELFUND scheme, are collectively endorsing President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office. This is in recognition of the transformative impact of the NELFUND’s access to higher education and the alleviation of financial burdens for Nigerian students. “We are also donating the sum of ₦10,735,500 to support the purchase of the expression of interest form for him. This gesture is a symbolic expression of gratitude for the President’s bold educational reforms, youth-oriented policies, and commitment to expanding access to tertiary education opportunities across the nation.

EFCC's Troubling Revelation on Our Students. The worrisome statement by the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that 6 out of every 10 Nigerian university students are involved in “419” is deeply troubling and must not be taken lightly. Nigeria already has a very limited number of students in higher institutions, estimated at 2 to 2.5 million. If indeed about 60% of them, roughly 1.4 million young people, are involved in fraud, then we are not just facing a crime issue; we are confronting a serious moral and systemic failure. The question we must ask ourselves is: what has brought us to this level? Who are the role models these students are looking up to?. What values are they learning from society? We must understand that young people become what they consistently see. When a system appears to reward wrongdoing, when integrity is not upheld, and when those in leadership are associated with allegations of forgery and dishonesty without consequence, it sends a dangerous message. It suggests that hard work does not matter, and that results, by any means, are acceptable. These points clearly point to a collapse of moral values. As Socrates rightly said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” Nigeria must now examine itself. This is not about condemning our young people. It is about accepting that leadership sets the tone. If we do not demonstrate integrity at the top, we cannot expect it at the bottom. We must urgently rebuild our value system, enforce accountability without bias, and create an environment where honesty, hard work, and discipline are rewarded. That is the only sustainable path to securing the future of our nation. A new Nigeria is POssible! -PO

@dGreatKhaleed @ruffydfire @dGreatKhaleed your line of thought is dis functional. First, what is the essence of an online portal? Is it not to enable those who don't have the time to visit INEC office to stay wherever they are and complete the registration process? Then no need for INEC online. Crazy!

This is a pure lie… with or without scheduling an appointment you can go to any INEC designated center to complete your registration (biometric capturing)…. Infact even without starting the online process you can still go to any INEC designated center for instant registration and biometric capturing….. why people likes to lie please?

Message sent to me Good Evening, I always watch Arise TV and admire your drive to speak truth to the government of the day to make Nigeria work for all. I am also a responsible citizen and would be a happier Nigerian the day I begin to see a better Nigeria. Please, I would like to draw your attention to what I just observed, which I believe is a plot by INEC to disenfranchise people from voting and ensure that the 2027 election goes in favour of the current ruling party. If you possibly can look into it and bring it up to the media space to possibly get INEC to do the right thing. Please, I would like to be anonymous. Since around December, 2025, after it was now obvious that we have a party (ADC) that could still be considered an opposition to the current terrible government of the day (APC), I decided to register with INEC so I could vote in 2027. I visited the INEC registration website, created my application, but have not been able to schedule a date to be captured so I can get a voter's card to enable me to vote. On the portal where I am to make the schedule, it kept showing me that the scheduling period ended sometime around August, 2025, which means that I cannot get a Voter's card, I cannot join the party of my choice (ADC), and ultimately, I cannot vote by 2027. I have kept on visiting the portal at least two to three times within a week to see maybe it would be opened up and I get to complete the registration process, but nothing positive. Then, sometimes last week, when it was obvious that INEC would be proceeding with a nationwide revalidation process, I felt it would be an opportunity for me to complete the registration, I started visiting the scheduling portal every day but then it kept showing me that scheduling period has ended as usual only for me to check today 5th April, 2026 to see that the scheduling period is between Jan 5th 2026 to April 2nd 2026, as I have screenshotted and attached in this mail and yet I have not been enabled on the portal to schedule a date for capturing. This made me start wondering why all this time, I have not been allowed by the INEC's portal to schedule a date for capturing, so I can finalize the registration, get a voter's card, and be able to vote. Could it be that I have been profiled and identified by the INEC system as a prospecting opposition, hence the reason to ensure that I am disenfranchised? John

Dear @m8arteta, if you are playing a League Cup Final, use your best players, no matter which players got you there. If you are playing an FA Cup quarter-final, use your best players to attain an unassailable lead first before bringing on the second-tier players. You don’t bring on your best players when you are already in trouble. That’s amateurish. Yes, I know that there is a Champions League match on Tuesday but we don’t even know if we will be alive on Tuesday. So, we need to go hell-for-leather every single game. And please, enough of that short corner nonsense. We haven’t scored a single goal from it so far. Best regards, A Committed Gunner.

Court jesters were what we now call talk show pundits and influencers. They were highly intelligent and served during the days of sovereign infallibility and executions to demonstrate the folly of a king's policy. It was a dangerous role; go too far, and the king would behead you. Don't go far enough, and it's just comedy, with no room for introspection. When they strike the right balance, it becomes humour, but a profound message is conveyed. “Bsc as POS operator hit me”

🗣️| Spain manager Luis de la Fuente: “In England, they consider him (David Raya) the best goalkeeper in the world, and here nobody talks about him. The same goes for Joan Garcia and Alex Remiro, let’s be fair. But Unai Simon is indisputable.” “It would be unfair if we didn’t value Unai’s quality, class, career, and professional experience. It would be absurd for me to have to come here and reaffirm it, just because he’s Unai Simon. When a goalkeeper is at this level, you have to respect his standing and his career.“ “The others have a lot of talent and class, but everything in its own time.” [via SportsMole] 🇪🇸

Every serious JAMB candidate in Nigeria should see this. On February 27 & 28, from 2pm – 4pm, there will be a National JAMB Readiness Assessment completely FREE. Last time we ran this, something shocking happened: Many students who thought they were ready… were not even close. This assessment is not to scare you. It is to save you. Because the worst thing that can happen is entering the real JAMB exam hall thinking you’re ready and finding out too late that you’re not. This is your opportunity to: • Test yourself under real JAMB conditions • See where you truly stand nationally • Identify your weak areas before it’s too late • Build confidence before the actual exam The best students will use this. The careless ones will ignore it. The difference will show on result day. Register now and familiarize yourself early: exams.educare.school Tell every student you know. Your sibling. Your child. Your neighbor. Everyone. February 27 & 28. 2pm – 4pm. Free. No excuses.

I have formally petitioned the Inspector-General of the Nigeria Police Force, @PoliceNG and the FCT Police Command, @FctPolice to ensure the immediate arrest of @PeterObi should he be found within any polling unit or collation centre during the forthcoming FCT LGA elections. Let me reiterate, with unmistakable emphasis, to all well-meaning Nigerians: Mr. Obi is not a duly verified voter within the Federal Capital Territory and, consequently, has no lawful, moral, or procedural business within any polling booth or collation arena in Abuja. The Federal Capital Territory is not Anambra, where disorder is often alleged to eclipse due process. Abuja must remain a citadel of statutory discipline and electoral rectitude. It is widely surmised that Mr. Obi has exhausted his political interventions in advancing his preferred candidate toward an inevitable defeat. Prudence, therefore, dictates that he retire to the quiet confines of his hotel room and witness, from a lawful distance, the televised unfolding of that political misadventure. No more sustenance for rodents.
