all you need is one good year. one year of obsession, focus, and sacrifice. train like a machine. stack your money. build your name. expand your network. outgrow everyone. after that, life shifts. you'll know what winning feels like. you'll carry yourself differently. you'll move with purpose. one good year can change EVERYTHING

> The illusion of early success. In your early 20s, the brain seeks quick proof of worth ~status, attention, rapid achievements. But psychologists warn that chasing recognition too soon can lock people into roles or paths they never consciously chose. They decide too early… and spend years trying to undo it.

If negativity about your age has entered your mind, this story is for you. This man from China, **Wang Deshun**, proved that age is just a number. At 44, he started learning English. At 50, he joined a gym for the first time. At 65, he learned horse riding. At 78, he learned to ride a motorcycle. At 79, he began his modeling career. At 81, he became a brand ambassador for Reebok. At 82, he learned to fly a plane. At 85, he earned his pilot’s license — and even today, he continues to fly. When asked how he does all this, he said: “There are many possibilities around you. When you say it’s too late, it’s often just an excuse.” Think about it — people give up at 25, while he kept starting new journeys even at 80. The truth is, no one can stop you except yourself. Age is not the problem — your comfort zone is. As long as you’re breathing, you still have a chance.

You're scared to spend 2 years learning a new skill at 28, because by the time you're done, you'll be 30. Whether you learn the skill or not you'll still be 30 in two years. Time is extremely valuable.

As you retire from Tests, I'm reminded of your thoughtful gesture 12 years ago, during my last Test. You offered to gift me a thread from your late father. It was something too personal for me to accept, but the gesture was heartwarming and has stayed with me ever since. While I may not have a thread to offer in return, please know that you carry my deepest admiration and very best wishes. Your true legacy, Virat, lies in inspiring countless young cricketers to pick up the sport. What an incredible Test career you have had! You have given Indian cricket so much more than just runs – you have given it a new generation of passionate fans and players. Congratulations on a very special Test career.
