I went to Delaney Hall after reports of unsafe and unconstitutional conditions inside, and what I heard from families and advocates was heartbreaking. The people being held there are fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters who deserve to be treated with dignity.

My request to access the facility was denied this morning, raising even more questions about what they are trying to hide from public view. I’ll keep fighting for answers and to hold ICE accountable.

The owner calmly explains that they don’t charge by the hour — they price based on the scope of the job because it accounts for more than just time, like equipment, materials, expertise, crew size, and cleanup. Most professional landscaping companies work this way because it’s cleaner for both sides and rewards efficiency. The man keeps pressing for a breakdown anyway, even as his wife stands there listening and occasionally smacking him with an Amazon package she's holding for being rude. 😭 The owner stays professional and tells him he’ll send over a formal quote in the next couple of days, but the customer gets more and more frustrated until he finally says, “I’m 83 years old, man… I’ve done a lot of business in my life, and this is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.” When you’re getting quotes for work, do you prefer a flat price upfront, or do you like seeing everything broken down by the hour?

You don't have to debate it at all. The facts are the facts. Is New York City the most highly taxed jurisdiction in America? Yes. Is it the most poorly run city in America? Yes. It's just so inefficient. All Bezos was saying is you could steal all of his money, give it all to New York, and they would just piss it away. That was he was saying because it's so poorly managed, and it has been for so long. You could take everybody that's been successful in America, steal all their money, put it through the meat grinder of inefficiency and destroy what's great in America, the American dream.

Ok the bet question guys this is the fact, I made the bet with him. He got paid most of the bet. I asked hey how much money did you have had you not won the bet. He told me the number, it was a 3rd of the bet amount. He doubled his money but is asking for remainder of the money when he didn’t have the money to pay had he lost.
