As the custodian of Enyimba Football Club through the state government, it is important that the welfare of players is prioritized and that standards befitting a club of Enyimba’s stature are upheld. Enyimba is not just any club, it is a symbol of pride, excellence, and Nigerian football heritage. Issues like this risk damaging that legacy. I urge you, sir, to urgently look into this matter, ensure that the player receives the care and support he deserves, and put systems in place to prevent such occurrences in the future. People whining about CAF decision acting like they don’t know football rules. To those that’ve played FIFA online matches, you do know if you quit the match whilst the match was on it would automatically record it as a forfeit (3-0) result.
