I know this topic is over already, but being lads VIP is not the same as being a CN whale. I actually was friendly with one in a previous game. This chinese girl dropped 50k USD on this honestly nothingburger unranked game no one's heard of like it's nothing, and she was in her early 20s, just finished college. Her father was some weapons manufacturer. She knew all the other big whales in the game and they had their own groupchat. She could literally DM the game's staff and get a response like they were buddies instead of some copy paste response. That's how "inner circle" some of these CN whales are. The VIP players who can only just pester customer service are way down the ladder of the hierarchy of clientele. If that's unbelievable to imagine, just think of these luxury brand influencers, except there are even wealthier VIP customers who can email/telephone the designer whenever they want just to give their opinion. This is what I assume it means when they say CN whales got together to make their dissatisfaction known to PG. It probably means calling the CEO on their personal phone to yell at him. Even if you've dropped a few thousands of dollars on this game like I have, we're still just peasants. If you're wondering to yourself then, "what hope is there to change anything when it comes to greedy corporations?" I'll just say, there's a reason so many successful revolutionary leaders are lawyers or have a legal background.
