@AerLingus Thanks for the response. My friends were told that their bags were fine on the outward flight,but when challenged on the way back, the gentleman at gate 10 replied'Two wrongs don't make a right', repeated that and then walked off. The bags were within the dimensions on the board.

@AerLingus Hi, is there any reason that at Belfast City, three female passengers were not permitted to take on their hand luggage, whereas men with bigger bags were allowed to take theirs on? Bags permitted on outward flight.

Five women in total were pulled out in what was, quite frankly, a sexist act.

Three friends were all charged 35, when similar sized (and larger) bags were allowed on in the cabin. The man at gate 10 (refused to give his name) was very condescending, bordering on aggressively misogynistic, stating he 'would have let them on if you were nicer to me'
