An interesting approach to education. Our identities are multi-faceted, contextual, and operate on their own schedules. I'm particularly a fan of the conclusion: one's pace doesn't equate with comprehension/intelligence.

I can recreate the smell of my grandmother's home just by thinking about her, but now here visiting with her as she is seeking out those pearly gates that lovely, happy scent takes on an edge of remorse and desolation. Perhaps growing up is learning to fear growing old.
