@privateuser067@gunner_dom@MadridXtra So rigging one game is okay in a World Cup for you? Other countries don’t deserve same treatment in a free and fair competition?
🚨 BREAKING: France’s appeal to rescind Michael Olise’s yellow card against Paraguay has been rejected by FIFA.
He will be SUSPENDED for a potential semifinal if he's booked against Morocco.
@MadridXtra Not much point watching the late stages of this tournament is there, when it’s so rigged. I much prefer the excitement and lightheartedness of the group stages
@talkSPORT If we had won the game it would have classed as a defensive masterclass but because the team lost on pens then so many pipe up saying we should have had a go
🤷♂️ "If Arsenal opened the game up and went toe-to-toe, they'd have got beaten 3-0!"
🙏 "We've seen Arteta play expansive football... he decided this was the best way to win!"
Simon Jordan hits back at people criticising Mikel Arteta for #AFC's defensive tactics vs PSG! 😡
@privateuser067@anishmoonka Because movies are terrible in every way. Skyfall is shit, everyone pretends it's a masterpiece, Spectre is even worse, and No Time to Die is somehow worse than that.
Fans hated Daniel Craig as James Bond so much they built a website to stop him and begged people to boycott his first movie. A newspaper even hunted down a regular guy named James Bland, just to get him to say Craig would be the worst 007 ever.
This was 2005, a full year before the movie even came out. And the complaints were pretty petty. His hair was blond and his eyes were blue, which somehow felt wrong for Bond. He stood 5 foot 11, a couple inches shorter than the men who played Bond before him. At his first big press event he rode in on a speedboat wearing a life jacket, and people roasted him for it. He chewed gum on stage. Word spread that he couldn't even drive a stick shift. Then, filming his very first fight scene, he got two of his teeth knocked out.
But the two people who run the Bond movies, Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson, had picked him for a reason. The films had gotten kind of silly by then. The one right before this had an invisible car and a surfing scene that looked fake and computer-made. So they decided to wipe the slate clean and start Bond over from scratch. They threw out the gadgets, dropped Q, the character who hands Bond his spy toys, and built a Bond who bleeds, gets beaten up, falls in love, and messes up. The director's plan was simple: a darker Bond, more focus on the character, and far fewer gadgets.
It worked the moment the movie came out. Casino Royale hit theaters in late 2006 and made about $600 million worldwide. No Bond film had ever made that much money. The same people who had been trashing him went quiet fast.
And it kept climbing. His third film, Skyfall, made $1.1 billion in 2012, the first Bond movie ever to cross a billion dollars. Fifty years of films, and none had managed it before. Put all five of his movies together, from 2006 to 2021, and they made close to $3.9 billion. Every Bond film ever made, all 25 since 1962, adds up to around $7.6 billion. So one actor, in five films, pulled in about half of everything the series has earned in over 60 years.
His pay shot up too. He earned $3.2 million for the first film. By the fourth, he was on $25 million, almost eight times more.
The guy a newspaper called the worst Bond ever, before he had even finished filming, ended up playing him longer than anyone and making more money than anyone. The thing people love about him today is the exact thing thousands of fans once signed their names to stop.
🚨 | Manchester United are in touch to understand the cost of signing Tyler Adams from Bournemouth.
It might be in the £40m region and he has two years left on his Bournemouth contract.

@Im_RobM Rob, they were ALWAYS this rotten. This new narrative that refs have only become bad due a reliance on VAR is rubbish - they were this bad before, which is exactly why we all wanted VAR.
There is no better example of VAR causing a decline in Premier League officiating than this Southampton v Boro match. Premier League referee Andy Madley in charge and without a VAR safety net he has been absolutely rotten.
@JayJ2001@Flo2013William@WyronGaines If you scroll he’s done it to so many as well 😂 also look at his dumb face. No wonder he hates women cause he gets none
