2.5k is not enough for any city in the uk to be providing for TWO people.

@ncognit0 I can read thanks, this is about financial literacy and where you are naive in. Minimum wage is around £26.5k before tax. I just don’t think under £20k per adult is realistic in this economy. ‘Doable’ isn’t the same as sustainable. Kind Regards. 👍🏾

@privjszz You can’t read respectfully. I’m not recommending anyone to live on that salary, i’m saying it’s doable. And i also think what you mentioned is doable but again, i think you’re comparing your higher expense lifestyle to people who can budget better.

@ncognit0 Have bigger ambitions. £36–40k salary just doesn’t cut it in this economy for two whole humans. Sustainability means more to me than just getting by. It’s a roof over your head, date nights, holidays, supporting your family. There’s a lot more to it but each to their own ig 🤷🏾
