We're thrilled to announce that Stainless is joining @AnthropicAI! Stainless was founded to make software better for everyone, and we're honored to continue that mission on the Anthropic team. Check out the announcement blog post for more: stainless.com/blog/stainless…

The Stainless C# SDK generator is now generally available ✨ Providing high-quality C# code that takes full advantage of the language is a high bar to meet. But with features like full .NET Standard 2.0 support, strong typing, and async enumerables, Stainless-generated code feels like they were hand-crafted by an experienced .NET developer. It's already used in production by @AnthropicAI, @browserbase, @TryArcade, @useOrb, @trycourier, @dodopayments, and more. The blog details some noteworthy design decisions we've scrutinized to make C# a first-class citizen in the Stainless ecosystem. stainless.com/blog/sharper-t…

We're excited to welcome @Google as a Stainless customer. Google DeepMind’s new Interactions API "introduces a native interface specifically designed to handle complex context management when building agentic applications with interleaved messages, thoughts, tool calls and their state." We partnered with them on the TypeScript and Python SDKs to support the launch.

@mazikado_jp Oh amazing, thank you! Yeah I think the best starting tasks are smaller bugs like that, or adding more missing vim motions. Some motions won't be possible to add without larger refactors, but there are basic ones like `dw` that are missing.

@probablyrobert I'm looking to contribute to Glide! I've currently completed the build process. It seems the expand selection right, left functions aren't working in visual mode, so I'm planning to fix that. But if you have any other suitable tasks you'd like me to work on, please let me know.

glide 結構いいかも! <Shift-i> が実装されてなかったり、hints で出てこないリンクがあったり、まだまだなところもあるけど。 "Glide is in very early alpha. There will be many missing features and bugs." っていってるし、これからどんどん開発されていくだろう github.com/glide-browser/…

@mazikado_jp if you want to try it out yourself, you can enable image hints with the following config glide.keymaps.set("normal", "f", "hint --include=\"img,svg\"");

@mazikado_jp ahhhh that's because glide doesn't add hints for images yet. I did include them originally but it lead to issues with overlapping hints, so I removed it until that could be fixed.

Most API docs only show HTTP endpoints, but developers write code with SDKs. We're doing things differently with the Stainless Docs Platform, now available in early access. Stainless Docs are SDK-native. They update automatically when your API changes. Devs see your docs in the language of their choice with method signatures, types, and accurate code snippets.

@mikasenghaas @samuelcolvin hmm I wonder if we should just incorporate your hotfix into the OAI types, those numbers are pretty compelling...

here is the repro! - could confirm the 2x speedup with model_validate_json (tho this is still way too slow to be usable in practice) - showed linear scaling in processing time as function of num completion tokens - put our hotfix in there for good measure which gets us <1ms let me know if you need anything more!:) gist.github.com/mikasenghaas/6…

this unassuming pydantic construction takes ~200ms for 32k tokens with logprobs yes, this is >10min cpu overhead at 4k batch size

As a newly minted head of marketing, I have one major goal - to create a launch video where the human participants appear, in actual fact, to be humans who are not hostages being held at gunpoint and forced to talk at a camera.

This week I vibe coded a little site called my-elevation.com , for use when hiking. There's a bunch of sites out there that tell you how high up you are, but they're all bloated and annoying. This is lean & fast. I even made it run without an API which was a fun challenge
