Our recent work published in JACS. We designed a new catalyst as efficient cathode material for fuel cells. We could achieve almost complete electron transfer in oxygen reduction reaction to water. The mechanism has been mapped via various in-situ methods. pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…

This work particularly demonstrates the importance of charge localization at the interface which helps in the up conversion of LO phonon (longitudinal optical) modes, eventually retards the decay of LO phonon to LA phonon (longitudinal acoustic) through Klemens channel.
