There's nothing to do than for D customer to add money since u guys don't have agreement on keeping it 4 dat long and D supplier as well is nt in control of D constant price increase of D cement. The customer just need to plead d supplier and add something to d initial payment.

Bro to bro: What’s your opinion? A customer came to pay for 150 bags of cement, collected a receipt and disappeared for over 4 months. Yesterday, he came back with trucks to carry the cement. He said he had been seriously sick since the day after he made payment, that’s why he couldn’t come earlier. I explained to him that the price of cement has increased since then and he needs to add more money before carrying the goods. I even offered to refund the exact amount he paid back then if he’s not comfortable. the man got angry immediately saying he’s not adding any money and he’s not collecting refund. According to him, “na the cement wey I pay for I wan carry.” He even threatened to drag me legally next week. #as copied# What will your advice be?

Bro to bro: People dey cash out. People dey get below minimum earnings (at least they are monetized). Then those whose earnings was paused. And then, there are some of us, wey never even see 5 milli impressions, let alone monetization, before earnings 😂😂... Everybody with their own problems... X is everyday in the week, yet not for the weak! Na why I weak like 1 week.

Absolutely sir! Apart from God’s grace, one of the most pivotal things that brought someone like me this far is academic excellence at the undergraduate level. Anytime I reflect on my journey, I always thank God that I took my 2013–2017 university years very seriously. If I hadn’t graduated with a first class degree, I’m honestly not sure my life would have taken this path. I’d probably be somewhere in Ogun State teaching Physics in a secondary school today. Academic excellence truly opens doors many people never imagined possible. 🙏🏾📚

I'm an advocate of academic excellence and, post-school, 9-5 because I have seen it move children from lower economic classes out of poverty. Academic excellence also opens doors to funded/scholarship opportunities abroad. Many people are doing well today because their grade (& ability to pass exams eg GRE/GMAT) opened doors for them to study abroad. This is not to say other routes (that do not depend on academics eg trade, skill) do not achieve these too, but I think that route is more liberal and has higher success rate - at least to move to upper middle class life.

Honestly, I don’t even know how to plan life long-term or optimise like that 😅 Most of my biggest decisions happened from simply following where God was leading me at different stages of life. Looking back now, the timing of many things still surprises me. 🙏🏾 For example: 1. January 1, 2022: If anyone had told me I would graduate from my Master’s program that year, I would have denied it 😅 The program normally takes an average of 3 years, and October 2022 would only make it my second year (I defended my thesis September 2022). Also, if someone had told me at the beginning of that year that I would land a full-time international job before graduating, I would never have believed it!! 2. January 1, 2024: If someone had told me I would relocate to the USA 🇺🇸 that same year, I would have denied it too. The time it took me and my family to decide was less than 3 months, and God made it happen through my manager. The same man who hired me as a student was the same man who went out of his way to ensure my transfer to America 🇺🇸 happened smoothly within 3 months of my decision. 🙏🏾 So yeah, everything na God 😅 I’m not saying planning is bad, but life has just worked differently for me.

Bro to bro: do you know that the price of a cubic meter of concrete with a mix 1:2:4 as at 2019 was between N22,000.00 - N28,000.00? Today, it is about N125,000.00 - N130,000.00. This price increase is due to the increase in price of Sand, granite, that we have discussed. Concrete is an indispensable material in building construction. It's the backbone of building construction. It's a mixture of Cement Sand Granite Water If we have a concrete of 256 cubic meter, this implies In 2019: 256 x 25,000 = N 6,400,000 In 2026, same 256 cubic meter = 256 x 127,000 = 32,512,000 See the difference? Just about 7 years ago. RMC is way more expensive. RMC means "Ready mix Concrete". The one you buy and pour you don't mix it yourself. A cubic meter can of the same mix 1:2:4 today costs as much as N149,000.00 - N155,000.00.
