Glad that in #OsmaniaUniversity two hostels were inaugurated today. “Government is a continuous process. Rulers at the helm might change but the good deeds will cherish forever” Both hostels and an administrative block were proposed ,foundation laid, brisk progress took place in Sri #KCR government with the passionate initiative by then Vice Chancellor ,Prof Ravinder and team which can accommodate 1200 students. Then Minister of Education Smt @BrsSabithaIndra , then ministers @YadavTalasani ,@mahmoodalibrs , MLC Smt @SurabhiVaniDevi and other guests graced the foundation ceremonies .#TSEWIDC was entrusted with responsibility of construction with the intervention of then finance minister Sri @BRSHarish and progress was regularly tracked by Sri @KTRBRS for the speedy completion of works in the interest of the university. Engineering team lead by SE ,Mr Shafy did a commendable job in completing the hostels while the admin block work is in progress.

It was an Historic Moment at OU at the 83rd Convocation, 1036 students across 12 Faculties received their PhD Degrees, 58 Gold Medals were Dr. (Smt) Tamilisai Soundararajan Hon'ble Chancellor & Governor of TS presided and Shri Shantanu Narayen was the Chief Guest and Orator.

Corridor No 78,“Construction of Missing Link road from NCC Junction to Adikmet Flyover Parallel to OU compound Wall”. The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the construction of the missing link road from the NCC gate of OU to Adikmet ROB was conducted today. 06-10-23

Sr. Prof. D. Ravinder profusely thanked Hon'ble Minister Shri K. T. Rama Rao Garu for his support in constructing a bypass road in Osmania University. This initiative will pave a way for making OU into a Closed campus in the days to come by. 04-10-23

Today a twelve members delegation from Ubon Ratchathani University(UBU), Thailand, led by Dr. Chutinun Prasitpuriprecha, President, UBU Visited Osmania University. Discussions were held for collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

On behalf of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Hyderabad, Sr. Prof. D. Ravinder, VC, OU, launched TiE Grad + which will be benefitting 3,00,000 aspiring Entrepreneurs. On this occassion, VC stressed on the need for Skill development and OU's initiatives on Entrepreneurship.
