En su ponencia sobre "la estratificación de la enfermedad en GCA y PMR: estado del conocimiento y perspectivas futuras", el @profbdasgupta concluye como próximos pasos: ✅El marco del GPSD podría ampliarse en el futuro para incluir la arteritis de Takayasu (TAK). ✅La TAK difiere del GPSD en términos patológicos, demográficos y de presentación clínica, pero sus enfoques diagnósticos y terapéuticos comparten muchos puntos en común con los del GPSD. ✅Evaluación de las imágenes vasculares en diferentes grupos geográficos. ✅Esta fusión puede mejorar la eficiencia diagnóstica y facilitar una diferenciación fenotípica más matizada, lo que respalda un enfoque más integrado y eficaz para el manejo y la investigación de la enfermedad.
