just had an incredible weekend at the sweetest little festival and I’m feeling so goood! made tons of new friends, helped build a rad immersive art piece, danced harder than i’ve danced in years, might have a new crush, took a bajillion photos I’m about to dive into editing. yayy

. @lkesteloot was just going through some old papers and found this, our very first date, 27 years ago today. He told me he had an extra ticket to go see the opening day of the new Star Wars movie, and I was afraid he might be joking, (I had tried very hard and unsuccessfully to procure one - trust me it was a big deal at the time 😂) so we met up a day early at Sneeha so he could give me the physical ticket. The next day we met at the theater :) Here’s to the next 27 years of adventures together my love! Happy Anniversary 🥰

@Dara_like_Sara yikes!!! how long is your timer 👀 if it happens again i’ll probably go see a doctor. but I’m pretty sure (/hoping) i just had a fucked up period because i was extremely ill for two weeks of that cycle and started my period a whole week early

@profeshkitten I have these sometimes! They get so bad I’ve set a timer for when I’ll go to the hospital if it hasn’t stopped. Later found out I have endometriosis.

i had a (very abnormal) 45min menstrual cramp that was so intense i could barely breathe or open my eyes and i love that if you google what to do the advice is like “have you tried tea? ibuprofen? hot pad? go to the doctor if it lasts 2-3 days 🙂”

@nvpkp it also worries me, but I’m comforted by the fact that i have excellent episodic memory for things that actually occur in my own life. maybe my brain just knows that movies aren’t important to store long term

@profeshkitten i’m worried for my neurological health that this is also the case for me

my memory for movies is so bad that i can rewatch something and it’s essentially new to me. i rewatched Knives Out maybe two years later? and could not remember the plot twist at all. i am endlessly entertainable
