I've seen people criticized for using the words "effectiveness" and "efficiency" in education. Whatever you think education should do, if you don't care about effectiveness, you don't care about students, and if you don't care about efficiency, you don't care about teachers.

@dynarski @annaklewis @SusannaDW If you could find some tasks to keep him busy and fully occupied for, say, a decade or two, I and my country would be very grateful.

I worry that we are in danger of misrepresenting the truth about modern Britain. We are a lot kinder and more tolerant than many would have us believe. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
