It was a pleasure to host this Discover Economics event, encouraging young people from under-represented backgrounds to study economics. Roedd yn bleser cynnal y digwyddiad ‘Darganfod Economeg’ hwn i annog pobl ifanc o gefndiroedd heb gynrychiolaeth ddigonol i astudio economeg.

Addressing the lack of diversity in economics is key to ensuring our experts reflect the people of Wales. @DiscoverEcon encourages students from under-represented groups to study economics. Diolch to @CardiffUni for hosting the event 🫶

I've seen people criticized for using the words "effectiveness" and "efficiency" in education. Whatever you think education should do, if you don't care about effectiveness, you don't care about students, and if you don't care about efficiency, you don't care about teachers.
