Progress Toronto
@progresstoronto
A not-for-profit organization advocating and organizing for a democratic, just, and progressive Toronto.

I’ve been clear that Torontonians need to have a say on major decisions that affect our waterfront. That’s why I voted in favour of a referendum on the proposed island airport expansion. While Toronto’s seat at the table should never have been taken away, I am grateful the federal government has listened to residents.

How are you feeling, Toronto?

We’re aware of AI-generated, so-called “endorsements” circulating online. Official campaign endorsements that stand for the priorities our campaign is built on can be found on our social channels and website. All other “endorsements” have no affiliation to our campaign.

Right now, Toronto taxpayers are subsidizing disorder at the busiest intersection in the country. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Welcome to Toronto Square, a city centre we can be proud of again. My plan makes the intersection at Yonge and Dundas cleaner, safer, and full of life with a permanent police presence, expanded mental health outreach, year-round programming, and a celebration of Canadian stories. All without raising your property taxes. That’s how we’ll build a city we can be proud of.

Mayor candidate Brad Bradford is proposing renaming Sankofa Square as Toronto Square.

@leftylabourtech If Brad can’t seem to deal with a simple issue like 500 Dawes then how can Brad be trusted to look after the bigger issues the scary part is that a lot of Brad voters will continue to support this incompetence.
