Just found out we have messed up the labels on the new large Casual Crew socks. 1. Large is mens 9-12 2. It's perfectly fine to put them in the dryer. So, this is a problem and we have to fix it.

Why do these diabetic nutritionist social media influencers encourage type 2 diabetics to eat fresh fruit? My daughter was watching one yesterday who said that an orange won't spike blood sugars, but orange juice will. So, of course, she tells me this and thinks maybe she can have some oranges. Orange juice with no sugar added is more concentrated and has about 20g of sugar per cup. One large orange has about 14g of sugar. But, the glycemic index is almost the same. One cup of juice has a GI of 45-50. One large orange has a GI of 40-45. Every time my daughter sees an influencer claiming to know what a diabetic can or can't eat, what does or doesn't spike blood sugar, I get so irritated with the info that they're sharing. Any kind of fruit spikes her sugars, and they don't come back down. I told her that she's just going to have to realize that many of these people don't know her body. They give cookie-cutter advice to people and never think about each individual situation. She's starting to understand that she can't eat fruit at all unless she wants to give herself insulin.

@KeenanPeachy Zest and juice some for freezing. I freeze in 1/2 cup bags because that's what most of my recipes call for. Freeze a couple whole and grate frozen peel and all on fish.

Yesterday I trimmed the lemon tree I planted when the pandemic started. 40 lemons harvested. These lemons are incredible and delicious. What can we do with these? Lemonade stand?
