@jk_rowling Reading the article it seems to be coming from a place of acknowledging what trans people want with regard to their own care. As I hope we would with other groups like, oh I don't know, women and girls perhaps? Listening to the voices of those most directly concerned seems kind.

For the same reason that you shouldn't be racist, sexist or homophobic. You also shouldn't use the alleged crimes of one individual to justify your hatred of a whole group. Like racists and homophobes have done in the past.

It's hard not to conclude that in spite of recent attempts at back-pedalling, @Keir_Starmer's view on what Rosie Duffield and women in general are allowed to say about their own bodies hasn't changed since 2021.
