🎉 Last week Governor Newsom signed SB 427 (Blakespear) into law, extending the Habitat Conservation Fund (HCF) through 2035! Thanks to @Cblakespear, @HenrySternCA & the legislators who supported SB 427, the HCF will continue protecting California’s natural treasures.

Easy approvals for homes that meet all safety and planning requirements means that communities can rebuild more quickly, and could accelerate homebuilding outside disasters as well. We’re excited to see Gov Newsom use AI to rebuild homes and restore neighborhoods in LA!

ICYMI: LA is deploying AI to accelerate rebuilding in the wake of the Eaton and Palisades fires. This tool pre-checks designs against local zoning and building codes, paving the way for faster approval once plans are submitted. buff.ly/dpd9MXO
