@gibson_moo4517 Hi, thanks for your interest! Project is in standby for now. Unfortunately I have very little spare time now. I have some further plans for this project but unfortunately I cannot forecast when I'll be able to invest the time needed.

@ProStick64 When can I get one in the future? Are you ever doing this again

After more than 18 months since I started this project I'm finally ready to ship the first 9 prototypes! (I built 10 units but one is for myself 🙃) I will send an email to the 9 people that will receive one of these and hopefully they will soon share their opinions! Stay tuned!

@WTFParts_ The project is in idle state at the moment. Unfortunately I'm extremely busy and can't proceed any further. I hope to have enough time to improve the stick in autumn and winter

@MissingNoSSB @ThatsADarkHorse @JpxSsb The case is outsourced because it required a much higher precision than what my FDM printer could offer. The thumbstick is printed by a friend of mine on a resin printer

@MissingNoSSB @ThatsADarkHorse @JpxSsb Moreover one of the two prototypes broke after the controller fell to the ground. That's something that could break an OEM controller aswell. Breaking by playing hard however IS something that has to be addressed. Thanks for the kind words by the way, I'm trying my best :)

@ThatsADarkHorse @MissingNoSSB @JpxSsb Simple in theory, not in practice otherwise I would have already done that. For now the only solution viable is using metal instead of plastic, and that is not compatible with larger scale production. I'm trying to think of other solutions

@MissingNoSSB @JpxSsb yea it was really just an issue with how the cap connects tot he stick. Pretty simple fix overall

@ShihmanSSB Not yet, depending on the feedbacks I get from the first prototypes I will proceed to manufacture another 100 handmade prototypes. I will surely put up a pre-order when I'm ready but I still need to collect feedbacks and work on improvements

@ThatsADarkHorse @icactusdog The steelstick64 cap compatibility shouldn't be hard honestly. The real issue is that I don't have any steelstick cap and my attempts at contacting Linus were all unsuccessful

@ProStick64 @icactusdog Yea the overall feel is great, the ranges are there. extended range mode is great for some games. biggest criticisms out of the box are the gate contact thing I mentioned and the fact that I can't swap on the caps from steelstick64

@ThatsADarkHorse @icactusdog Of course, every feedback is vital at this stage in order to improve the stick even further. The fact that both your and minioh first impression are good makes me very happy tho :)

@icactusdog nah the inputs are all there. you just don't get that nice feedback from hitting the gate and the notches

@JpxSsb @Dogs_Johnson 4 prototypes were sent the same day, other 4 are on their way this saturday. Unfortunately I still don't have a waiting list up. I'm still waiting feedbacks on the very first batch, and I can't wait to see how they perform. If everything goes well I'll surely set up a preorder
