I’m speechless for the first time in my life. The President & The First Lady invited me to sit at their table. I used to be a foster child in need & to sit with @FLOTUS a women who cares for all children & @realDonaldTrump a man who fights for people of all colors was an honor.
I see that the right is worked up that we pointed out the myth of bootstrapping when 60% of the wealth in this country is *inherited.* But hey, if you think I’m hopelessly dumb, try listening to MLK talk about “bootstrapping” & the racial wealth gap, too:

My family relied on food stamps (EBT) when my dad died at 48. I was a student. If this happened then, we might’ve just starved. Now, many people will. It’s shameful how the GOP works overtime to create freebies for the rich while dissolving lifelines of those who need it most.
Marijuana should be legalized, and drug consumption should be decriminalized. These are matters of public health.
