I had an idea at 4am and @evelynnRNNR made it come to life #marathonthegame

and also i dont think anyone that is grieving the incoming loss of live service is wrong for feeling these things, its a tough pill to swallow for sure just not a fan of sowing division/pushing to kill a second game that will in the end just end up burying bungie as a whole anyway, which doesnt really make sense in the scheme of "we want a d3"

@Protostar @giancar73012035 maybe complicit isnt the right word here. i just dont have a desire to play marathon after seeing that my favorite franchise's future got nuked for it. its not a forced feeling or anything, but i just see marathon in my library and have 0 desire whatsoever to hit launch.

The only thing you're doing with this is putting the Marathon team out of work. You're sabotaging yourself. If you want Destiny 3, your chances of that happening without Marathon surviving are zero.

thats fair man, i also dont really believe that marathon is solely responsible for destinys future getting cut, i think a lot of it has to do with the years of bad decisions they made on destiny itself, coming from someone who has way over 3000 hours in d2 also could some of the resources have been moved to marathon that impacted some of the dev pipeline? perhaps, but also you cant deny that bungie fumbled the bag on d2 consistently for a long time before marathon was in the picture as someone who loves that game dearly and will come back to it still after the live service is stopped, i think this blaming of one game/boycotting mentality (not saying youre boycotting or calling for it, just talking about what ive seen) is just not the move you guys need to take some time to grieve this properly i think cus emotions are running high and i understand why, but the constant spicyposting is only hurting the community and dividing things more imo

Always doing things the painful way isn’t tough it’s just dumb
