Plato's Timaeus & Critias are the first sources for the lost city of Atlantis. He made up Atlantas (did he though?) in order to claim them as a global super power that only Athens could defeat. In Timaeus, this dude named Critias says he knows a guy who knew a guy who knew

Thanks to him, I've started my own common place books. My favorite thing about starting is that you serendipitously start memorizing your favorite poems or passages from a book. My handwriting is slowly improving too, which is not saying much lol.

Ours is a generation devoid of sages, too foolish to recognize their absence.
