Due to the hard work of firefighters on the #BuckleyDrawFire, it's currently 42% contained, 452 acres. Cooler temps and higher humidity decreased fire activity. An infrared flight occurred after the rain. There remains heat sources still on the east and nort portion of the fire

#buckleydrawfire 8-23-25 Infrared mapping puts the fire at 452 acres and remains 21% contained. Infrared efforts helped identify remaining hot spots where crews will focus efforts. Firefighters are working on controlling the line fighting the fire directly towards Slate Creek
