Powered by strong economic firepower. --- The other day, I sat down with @AdrianDobrita to review where we are, and how far we’ve come. It’s hard to describe the feeling of re-architecting an entire network while the engine is still running. It’s daunting. Borderline insane. But if it works, hell, it changes everything. Very few in this world have the guts to even try. We’re at the point right before the first dry run of the new network flow. The team has built a hundred new parts, each ready, each intricate. Now, one by one, they’re being integrated. Calibrated. Aligned. Every component serving a greater mechanical flow. This step is a strange mix of frustration, relief, and elation. There are so many moving parts that the mind rebels. It feels like too much. But with each new piece plugged in, another loop closes. Ninety-nine parts to go. You know how many there are left. And that is comforting for the mind. It’s not endless anymore. Progress becomes measurable and intuitive. And when all hundred pieces finally come together, when you see the full set integrated, moving as one, that moment is marvelous. You know it’s not finished, but one colossal, meticulous, energy-draining step is done. And that feels good, and extraordinary. Then comes the test. Does it work? If not, what’s missing? What hidden bug is still haunting us? And if it does work, does it perform at the level we demand? What wheel still needs tuning, ironing-out, before this machine is ready for its public run? With patience, and a spark of brilliance, it will work. No doubt about it. But you have to go through pains of the process, and see it through. Relentlessly. One step at a time. That’s where we are. Where Adrian and the team live right now, deep inside the engine room. To make this new machine come alive. And set it in motion for the first time. What rare and enlightening moments we live through.
