3 Exciting features coming to Microsoft Teams, one that I think improves the life of all Teams users 🎙️ 🟣 In the Teams client, the mic icon will show a green moving "active" volume bar when speaking, eliminating “Can you hear me?” (MC989974). 🟣 Occupancy status on Teams Panels based on real-time data from Teams Rooms devices and occupancy sensors - previously, panels indicated occupancy based only on calendar data, but will now reflect sensor data (MC989975). 🟣 Ad-hoc individual desk booking in Teams (Premium) / Microsoft Places (MC989973) - When a user plugs into a shared desk device, if the desk is free and unbooked, it reserves the desk for the user. If the desk was pre-booked by the user, they receive a confirmation of their reservation. If the desk is reserved for someone else, the user plugging in gets notified that the desk has already been booked (MC989973). #MicrosoftTeams #UCaaS

I just had an update to Teams and now Chat/Teams is separate again. Is that happening to you folks, too?

@DanielGlenn @TechJahnke Totally get it, on the flip side I once submitted 4 sessions and then was selected to speak for all of them. It has to be hard to be an organizer, thanks for all you do. #exhausted

@TechJahnke Unfortunately, that usually isn’t the case for our events. With 3x the number of speakers vs slots, if you only submit one session and it doesn’t fit in the program, or several other possible reasons, you don’t get picked. Some really good speakers are not going to get picked 😞

TIP: If you want to speak at a conference, #CommunityDay, or whatever, you need to submit more than one or two abstracts. Your one or two sessions might not fit in, so give yourself the best shot at being picked by submitting more! #TheMoreYouKnow #community
