I really wish Apple would give special access to apps that have time sensitive health information. For me, if my dang Home Screen widget and Apple Watch complication could update up to 288 times a day to show my 5 min Dexcom value that would be so nice.

@ps2 Unfortunately I couldn’t find a problem on my end and assumed it was a SwiftUI bug. I worked around it by embedding a UIHostingController within a UINavigationController subclass that overrides setNavigationBarHidden(_:animated:) to always be hidden.

SwiftUI folks: anyone experienced issues with hosted SwiftUI views (without a NavigationView) erroneously forcing UIKit-based parent navigation controllers to have a visible navigation bar? Poking around in UIKitNavigationBarBridge isn't revealing anything actionable.

@willing Yeah, me. :) Would love to know if you got to the bottom of this. Seems like behavior changed from iOS 14 to iOS 15 here.

Tesla AI Day was a surreal blend of mind blowing real tech, and vague, hand-wavy future promises. I did come away significantly more confident in them being very close to solving FSD, however.

@MelindaMWedding @petershankman @veristable Totally understand the skepticism. Companies generally try to maximize profit, and with our messed up healthcare system, incentives are misaligned all over the place.

Wow. Want an actual image of what happens to your body depending on what you eat? The @veristable is blowing my mind. This is my glucose levels a little bit after one scoop of ice cream last night. Overnight my relationship with food has radically shifted. This is amazing tech.
