Trump has made it very clear that he thinks a trade defect means the US is losing to other countries, neglecting the fact that it simply means you are paying other countries to buy stuff. You lose money, but gain goods that you wanted to buy. Trump is a moron.

The overspending by Biden is the most unsustainable thing that government can do. Because it is nonproductive and parasitic. But it shows as GDP
