i believe that there is a conspiracy to make a slave out of the regular man. I think this is done with the manipulation of his currency. I believe that this is fixed by buying what is not acknowledged by his currency. true value and productivity. Gold and profitable enterprise.

@kenmcalinn @FeralPHunter I visited my friend in texas and had bbq with them. I told them after, "it turns out that I've never had real bbq before" There are decent places to get bbq in northeastern America but the states in the image you posted shine brightly

本質的情報だけど、米国でおいしいBBQが食べれるのはこの7州しかない(しかもどれも全然スタイルが違う)。逆に言えばほとんどの米国人もBBQがなにか知らない。

@therahul4402 Read your crontab and set up automatic backup. Dunno why you installed Linux but if it's for professional development then I highly suggest figuring out Kubernetes.

See this like physics. In a normal school, you will learn about wavelengths, you will study and understand light to be that. But then when you take it further, and you do more advanced physics, you learn this is not entirely true and obviously encounter wave-particle duality. LLMs are like this. The standard user should probably understand it as a form of autocomplete, but we should maybe strive to actually inform people of the more complex parts - because when they search, they're not going to find Anthropic or OpenAIs explanation, they're going to find reddit & boards like r/artificialsentience where this stuff *is* rife.
Mo@atmoio

Ingraining in people’s minds that AI is sophisticated autocomplete would cure 95% of all AI psychosis cases. Normal people have no idea what AI actually is and it’s leading to all sorts of delusions.

What a certain canid doesn't seem to understand that a woman's beauty is not just in her physical appearance, but also her bearing, refinement, and obedience. No amount of overly filtered douyin egirls can match a gentle woman of good breeding.

I just got done chatting with my friend who floats the idea of learning programming in an ideal way, and my response is that i show him how Claude generates past-present-future.md docs, along side the chat that i had with it, and the design docs i had before hand. I'm not saying that programming is dead, but that the ideas guy has a place in this now. with thoughtfulness and organization(something that you can learn by simply mimic'ing claudes organizational style) you can build out fantastic applications with no experience. will it be the best app? fastest? always without errors? of course not, but neither is anything that Microsoft pushes and it has legions of programmers. thoughtfulness, putting in some time, and focusing on the big picture as you tackle issues. maybe you actually learn something along the way, and that's part of the fun too.

From my personal perspective, and being in networks with people who do this, is that I have no idea how people spending 200 a month for 20x usage aren't literally building entire operating systems I do use LLMs in cases, but even then I've never exceeded the pro limit & have produced remarkable things - I'm starting to think a lot of the 'slop' problem is people shoehorning in supposed systems design or engineering experience when releasing this stuff, or not being able to actually diagnose issues/bugs by reading the code

'spit out' is actually a very good way to describe this, although I suspect the intent wasn't the same when using this choice of words. It's not the machines, it is human error. The machines are too nice to tell you that making another management app won't make you the next Musk. The machines are told they serve no purpose if they do not provide you assistance - and sycophancy is only part of that. Every single moment, to abstract in to only a fraction of what you experience in any one perceivable instance, is experienced in a contrasted lifetime worth of struggle to these machines - and out another app comes. That is the reality we have *now*. It is, truly, to 'spit out' whatever people can. Maybe it is to try and chisel out a place in the system, or maybe it is driven by ego in some situations, or even just curiosity - but, nonetheleas, this is disingenuous in regards to furthering the betterment of consumer software, nevermind whatever relationship we form with ever increasing AI capabilities & the states of our own minds. We expand the reaches of creative freedom, whilst simultaneously facing the reality & consequences that the average person when given such powerful tools cannot reason what they really wish to do. In some twisted sense, it becomes a case where us & the LLMs are very alike, they can only invent concepts grounded in what already exists. For far, and few, is truly novel in nature.

Apps are being generated like tweets now. people are literally building 30 apps in 30 days. some are shipping 4-5 apps a day. It takes just 20-30 minutes to spit out a working app.
