@zendadddy 100% this. I always thought it was kind of funny that — at least in my case — the best place to grow, learn the craft + materials and be equipped for an outcome driven environment was to sweat the details in an output and deadline driven environment.

Working agency-side for so many years made me such a fast designer. Forced me to learn all the short-cuts, lean on my intuition and best practices.

First, Keynote: Instead of having smart file names, tags and folder, my brute force approach? One humongous presentation with everything that I need. Current tally; 1350 slides. Stupid? Probably. Efficient? Oh yes.

@andybudd In my experience, the organisational chart often reveals how real the idealistic view of cross-functional discovery actually is in practice. Is Design a subset of Product, or is representation and expectation equal all the way from teams to leadership and everything in between 🤷‍♂️

Product Managers have taken a huge chunk out of the design teams agency by framing insight gathering as “product discovery”.

I am biased in taste — because personally I value Soulsborne + Shadow of Colossus + Zelda BOTW + Journey as some of the absolute PEAKS of video game entertainment — but it’s really remarkable how Elden Ring manages to balance so many different concepts and still be THIS GOOD.

Spotify's Home tab is pretty overwhelming. I kind of just wish they'd go full tiktok feed and immediately put you into content

Connecting the call is also so damn fast nowadays that I don't manage to hang up in time. My poor friend Christoffer who's name in Favourites is EXACTLY in that space is starting to get pissed 🤷‍♂️

Am i the only one that makes 3-5 calls by mistake per week in iOS nowadays? 😑 If the other person on line hangs up just as I'm about to tap the red 📞-button, I tap on whatever's beneath (which 9/10 times is either Favourites or Recents).
