This guy blocked me after I posted a poll showing Americans likes Euros way way more than Euros like Americans, so I’ll respond here: Every time I tell Euros that they need to help us contain China or we’ll be forced to find new partners, they respond, “Why do you hate me?”
@westernexile@romanhelmetguy The only answer to why someone would see Washington as a greater menace than Beijing is that that person is functionally retarded.
@romanhelmetguy Probably because the offer isn't all that attractive. When much of the world, and the Western world above all, sees Washington as a greater menace than Beijing, it is time to start asking yourself why that might be.
Why take a side when both are objectively awful?
It's really sad how some people are supremely confident in their ignorance. How are illegal aliens not subject to the jurisdiction (the laws) of the US? They are arrested and prosecuted for committing crimes in the US every day. Foreign diplomats in the US due to treaties or international law enjoy diplomatic immunity. They don't have to pay all of the NYC parking tickets they are issued. Laws of foreign countries may apply to illegal aliens, but their former home countries cannot enforce those laws in the US without our consent. See extradition as an example for foreign criminal laws.
@jwludwig@grayzoneintel Neither are illegals, but their kids get citizenship for some reason. Also foreign visitors who are subjects of their home country.
@grayzoneintel If the US was wholly or partially was occupied by Chinese forces, then those babies would not be subject to the jurisdiction of the US, OBVIOUSLY. Try thinking before writing.
@Biblicay@DAKKADAKKA1 I've never watched a single Pewdiepie video in my life. I learned to hate Indians because of their behavior. You can't blame this on him.
Sorry but what the heck is going on with this?
Why is the UK media suddenly fixated on dogs, seemingly to get people to question having them?
The UK is a solidly dog-loving place. British people have worked with them and kept them as companions for ever. This is so weird
@shoheikondo The deep knowledge:
In the '50s, socialist supporters of the USSR infiltrated our academic institutions and spent the last 70 years subverting our education system, government, and entertainment industries.
I don't know the solution.
@psyklyk@DFine2002@ToonHive You are very ignorant to a lot of the evil shit corporations do man, you DONT want the multi-billon dollar companys seeing teaching the next generation of children as a possible business venture
A judge has blocked Donald Trump’s administration order to cut funding to NPR and PBS, ruling it unconstitutional and a violation of First Amendment rights.
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, a longtime funder of PBS Kids, was shut down earlier this year under Trump.
@psyklyk@DFine2002@ToonHive See you would say that until the schools start teaching about the fundamentals of what's on the chik-fila dollar menu and how mega monopoly's aren't that bad actually.
Dystopia, again, and again.
@zetu_rrr It's sad, but I realize I'm not fit for Japanese culture, either, because I wouldn't be able to resist beating these idiots until they quieted down.
@psyklyk@DFine2002@ToonHive aaaaaand there it is, you want mcdonalds to teach kids
well done, education crisis solved, im sure the blackrock front and turning point usa branch has GREAT ideas for how to teach kids
@nu11k1ng@DFine2002@ToonHive Schools would be privately run enterprises competing to attract students in order to receive money. You know, a business. Those that produce better outcomes would receive more business, and subpar schools would eventually fail.
@psyklyk@DFine2002@ToonHive I still dont understand where all the options of schooling would come from or where they would get THERE funding from, or what the differences would be between them
@nu11k1ng@DFine2002@ToonHive Choice is good, it's a huge benefit to the parents and children. The administrative network could be handled either by the schools, who need it to get paid, or the states. Both are better option than the Feds. And still much, much, much smaller and cheaper than the DoEd.
@psyklyk@DFine2002@ToonHive except for when you get to the part where there are now a huge number of schools the parents have to pick from in order to educate there kid and an entire administrative network that would have to be set up like the DMV in order to get that funding to the kid
@psyklyk@DFine2002@ToonHive Because your system is a logistical nightmare and you Cleary don't understand how logistics work so ofc they seem like non-sequiturs to you
