@jayrayner1 The name will run on as a brand. Why not leave the name with the restaurant and let someone else take it on? The Roux name is brand enough. It's like closing Rules and keeping the name as a brand. The name is the restaurant. It's nothing without it.

Very few emails make my eyebrows genuinely raise. This one did. I totally understand the thinking but, boy that really is the end of something, allowing for the fact the name will live on.

Devastated at this terribly sad news. Paul was a lovely, wonderful human being. Kind, funny, super caring and the greatest actor I ever worked with x
