Nick Shirley is FAKING his Cuba "censorship" It turns out his dumbass didn't read anything about Cuba's requirements for a carnet (passport for goods). For professional camera equipment in many countries, including Cuba, you need to get a carnet to bring it into the country. Japan also has a similar rule, along with the US and a lot of Europe. This has nothing to do with censorship. If you wanted to censor him, he's a social media influencer so you'd simply seize his phone. This would be like if the police "took your guns" and left you a fully loaded AR-15. Japan is not trying to "censor" you if you fly into the country with Pelican cases of camera gear without the proper documentation.
