Ok, Twitterverse - I burnt myself pretty badly today. Not hospital bad, but complain a lot bad. I was frying up this yummy tofu (delicious with the coconut rice and a salad), and grease splattered on my finger and hand. Please tweet me your best burn treatments!!! #ouch

We've finished "The Song From Somewhere Else," and I'm struck by how the story resonated with my students. One student shared her analysis of Frank and her experiences, and it needed to be shared. #thesongfromsomewhereelse

@mrshallJMPS Please make sure you rest - in my experience the virus may make you if you don’t make yourself! I’m sure your family will be thrilled to take care of you! (That being said, I understand the drive to keep doing things….)

@dinah_murdoch I LIVE for the days I get to tell my dad new information. It honestly only happens if it’s related to pop culture or fashion. He has me beat on every other topic imaginable!!!

I was today years old when I learned this - on the gas gauge, there is a little arrow that points to the side the gas gets filled on. Frankly, I think it made my dad’s whole day/week/month/year that he was able to teach his know-it-all daughter something new. 😜 #whoa

@ESL_fairy @HTurnerFisher I found the same @ESL_fairy - I could tell I was adjusting emphasis when reading it, which changed the way I interpreted the words individually and the text as a whole. However, it DID make me have to engage more with the text, which sounds like it’s part of the purpose?

Thank you to gentle nurse Grace and the other staff and volunteers @ROWPublicHealth for a smooth vaccination experience at the Boardwalk site today. The “I spy” charts on the walls and MarioKart characters on the floor were a nice touch. :)
