the hardware is shrunk down and performs less at much higher temps, dual gpus and nvidia drivers are also a nuisance on linux (propiretary drivers, sometimes doesnt even work, needing to troubleshoot and no native support)

but think of it like this way: half of the people that play games on steam uses a laptop which are usualy way less upgradeable or repairable, and has much worst price-performance.

@SpoonieSexer going for a "gaming laptop" is also a really fucking stupid choice especially when it comes to dual gpu and less performance, and also with a gabecube (which im planning to get) will be running gentoo, and from there ill be using that gabecube as a daily driver desktop pc
